this is a place where we love to show the process... a bunch of new projects coming soon
70s Mountain House Major Reno
Everyone likes some amazing BEFORE & AFTER and this one promises to be an awesome reveal. \So for your viewing pleasure - the BEFORE pics. (And FYI the listing photos make the property look 100 x better than it actually does... so I've included some extra special picks of the (gross) reality of the situation 😝) Nothing that can't be fixed!! After photos coming soon!
Clients have just closed on an adorable but not well kept Mountain House that is definitely stuck in the early 90s... and not in a good way. We'll be renovating every single surface - interior & exterior, kitchen & baths, floors, walls, etc. The esthetic will be a vintage inspired yet modern and livable mountain escape with a green and blue pallet. Before photos coming soon!!! But for now here is some Inspo...
The Master Plan
Extensive architectural master and second story addition project in the works!
This EPIC project is almost complete - almost evert surface of the 100+ year old historic Santa Monica home has been touched. It's been one of the most challenging and rewarding projects to date! Here are a few sneak peeks (and decidedly not professional snaps) before the full reveal.
In the thick of it...
Framing is complete... check out how this major reno is coming along...
We are in the demo stages right now which is always as scary as it is exciting... especially when the home is 100 years old!
Master Bath Moodboard
Some inspo for the brand new Master Bath...
finishes we've picked so far for the bath...
sconces... soooo many sconces...
This master addition is ALL about the lighting. There will be NO overhead lighting in order to keep the integrity of the peaked ceiling so we are gonna need sconces galore. Here are some of the ones I'm considering right now...
A Kitchen Mini-Reno
design dilemma...
The cabinets in this kitchen are a beautiful, high quality lacquered Swiss coffee/off white. They are the ONE thing we don't want to touch. BUT after the counters were installed they look super yellow - ugggg. This is a common problem and usually can be fixed by changing the warmth of the lighting in the space. Check out this nifty little diagram if you are having the same problems. Look how the space changes with different lighting. Now check out our kitchen cabinets. Still the million dollar question now stands - WHAT COLOR WHITE DO WE PAINT THE WALLS?! would love to hear your feedback - comment below :)
demo...
Demo!! You never know what you'll find when opening up 100 year old walls - eek!
Look at this gorgeous slab!!
We're making this blah black and white kitchen (with brown walls - yuck) feel more light and bright and custom... BEFORE photos below - AFTERS coming soon
